Shyam Bengal’s ten-part television miniseries Samvidhaan: The Making of the Constitution of India is a documentary about the process of creating the Indian Constitution. After the nation gained its independence, the Constituent Assembly was faced with fresh and difficult issues while creating a grunt standard for a heterogeneous nation like India.

Every law imaginable in the nation was being flagrantly broken, hence the creation of new and efficient laws was essential for a free India. As a result, the Indian Constitution was drafted. After the country gained independence, the constituent assembly convened for the first time five days later.
